I'm a self-taught digital artist available for character design, character illustrations and 2d vtuber art.
I also do things like chibi's and emotes, for more examples please go to #comms.
I work a fulltime job offline so it might take a few days for me to respond to any messages.

This is to protect both my rights and my clients' rights. If you do not want this then I strongly urge you to choose another person for your commission. |

AGREEMENT
By agreeing to these terms of service, the client agrees to the following:
Clients MUST be 18 years or older to agree to these terms.
Clients DO NOT have the right to mint/sell their commissions as NFT nor use the art for generative AI purposes. Doing so is in violation of these terms.
Clients may not copy or trace my work in any way, unless expressly given permission.
Clients may edit their commissioned works in minor ways, such as use in Profile Pictures, Social Media Banners, or Youtube Thumbnails and similar cases. This is limited to cropping the works and replacing the background of images with a transparent background.
Clients shall credit 404shiyon/Yuu En for the work when reposting commissioned work.
Clients may produce physical reproductions of their work for PERSONAL use only. (Not for sale, unless express permission was granted.)
My commissions are for Personal Use only unless otherwise discussed. Up to the extent that these terms outline, you shall not profit off my work unless coming to a written agreement with me beforehand.
I retain the copyright to all work I produce. This includes use of the work for self-promotion, as example work in sales of commissions, the right to redistribute, and the right to reproduce the work, unless an agreement is made stating otherwise. For commissions that are public (no limitations stated on posting the work) I may post these works to my other social media platforms with proper credit to the client for ownership of the character’s design.
The Client agrees to provide 404shiyon with the following necessary information:
Payment Email required for receiving invoice.
Social Media Handles for proper crediting of commissioned work.
Preferred Name and Pronouns in the case of long term projects that may require months of communication.
Breaking the aforementioned agreement shall result in a blacklist, me snitching on you to my art friends and me filing a dmca claim and a dramatic public callout.
404shiyon will not retain any personal information from clients, after delivering the final product all client information will be purged, dms related to refunds and blacklisting might be stored without client information except username.
PROJECT404shiyon reserves the right to refuse any project.
404shiyon reserves the right to cancel any ongoing project if necessary. (See REFUNDS AND DELIVERY for more information.)
Projects are only officially accepted once an invoice has been issued and the full amount of less than $250 USD has been paid OR the 1st payment of the agreed upon payment plan is paid.
The Client must provide necessary information, such as character references, pose or composition references, and any other information they deem needed in order for 404shiyon to begin work. Failing to provide necessary information may cause delay on the delivery of the commission.
PAYMENTI will not begin work on a commission until full payment is received OR 1st payment of an agreed upon payment plan is received. Payment plans are only accepted for commissions exceeding $250 USD and Live2D Model commissions.
Payment shall be sent through Invoices only. Prices are listed in USD.
Prices listed are a baseline and can fluctuate above the list price based on complexity.
Additional fees may apply depending on what the work is intended to be used for. Please see section USAGE AND NDA for more information.

PROCESS
Expect a turnaround period of 2 weeks to 6 months depending on the scope of the project. Individual Illustrations may take 2 weeks to 1 month while larger projects such as Live2D Models are likely to take 1 to 3 months.This range can vary based on complexity of the order, so please plan accordingly. Generally a sketch will be provided within the first month after initial payment is received.
I try to send weekly updates on the project but feel free to ask me anytime in-between. Quick communication in dms is fine.Live2D Model commissions have a more detailed process that is outlined on the Live2D article.
After closing form submissions, I will reach out to those I’ve selected for that batch via the mode of contact listed on the form. This will generally happen within a week.
I will NOT reach out to those whose work I am not taking on, but shall announce on my social media when all chosen projects have been contacted.
For all commission types you shall receive a sketch for initial approval. If you must request changes I ask you to do it at this phase.
Changes requested after starting line art may incur additional fees.
In cases where there are small things I have missed, I will change them with no additional charge.(ex. I forgot a character’s earrings or got their eye color wrong.)
For small projects, I generally will not send further work-in-progress shots unless requested, so please feel free to ask!
Completed commissions shall be sent in their full resolution via Google Drive link unless otherwise specified. In the case of payment plans: Completed commission files shall only be sent after the final payment on the invoice is fulfilled.
REFUNDS AND DELIVERY
Full refunds may occur if a commission has been canceled before 404shiyon has started work on it.
If the commission process has already started, a partial refund may be available depending on to what extent the project is completed.
Partial refunds may be available if 404shiyon has failed to deliver a commission in a reasonable, timely manner. (Exceeding 6 months with no communication.) Some leniency is allowed as long as delays in expected project timeline are clearly communicated with the Client.
Delivery of a project (project files) may be withheld if payment from Client is not fulfilled at the time 404shiyon has completed the work.USAGE AND NDAAll commissions excluding Live2D and PNG Models are for PERSONAL USE ONLY unless agreed upon beforehand.
Live2D and PNG Models are priced with commercial usage in mind.
Live2D and PNG Models MUST be credited across the platforms they’re used on.
The Client may request additional usage rights for the commissioned work during the ordering process.
I consider the following use cases as commercial use:
Reproduction of the work, publicly or privately, in which you shall receive profit from my work. (ex. Video thumbnails from monetized social media platforms, stream assets)
The commericial use fee is broken down as follows:
+30% - Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Social Media promotional material (Use in Digital monetized content. – Ex. Overlays, Thumbnails, and other directly monetized content.)
Resale fee is broken down as follows:
+200% - Reproduction, Selling, Merch (Use in merchandise for sale. – Ex. Art Prints, apparel designs, charms or keychain designs.)
This fee is subject to increase at the scope of the project, such as applying to groups, businesses, and corporations.Privacy fee: A Client may request for their project to remain private during the ordering process. This means 404shiyon shall not be able to stream work of, post WIPs of, or post completed versions of the project until an agreed upon date in the future.
This privacy fee is +20% of the total price of the commission.
DISCLAIMER
I do not always agree with the political stand of my clients. When a client posts or expresses an opinion I do not agree with, I will NOT affiliate myself with that individual in the future. How people turn out to be is not something I can control. If I find myself involved with a person whose views in life go against the rights of other human beings, I rightfully deserve to be called out for it.
